The alarm clock goes off...
Jolt awake or awaken gently?
The way we wake up is really disregarded by everyone.
In the process of meditation, it is simply the important beginning of a new day.
Does it really matter HOW we wake up?
Try this new way and see if some aspects of the day shift in a new direction.
First, what does your alarm clock sound like?
Buy an alarm clock that has a gentle melody.
As soon as you are aware and right before your mind starts to race with the events of the day,
say 'Good morning' to yourself.
Let your mind wake up in quiet.
Give yourself just a few moments of silence in your mind.
Let all thoughts of 'getting busy' pass like cars on the highway.
Do not stop at any one of them.
Keep your mind clear long enough to FEEL theses words.
One by one, whisper each sentence:
I am peace.
I have an ocean of infinite patience.
I have love to give.
I create balance today.
Yoga is physical meditation.
Start the day with these 5 poses.
As soon as your feet hit the floor,
stretch into the
Sitting quiet pose:
Inversion pose:
Crescent moon pose:
Embrace life pose:

Count through the poses using your breath.
Inhale slowly as you count to 4...1...2....3...4...
Exhale slowly as you count backwards from 4...3...2...1...
Start with 2 breath counts per pose and time permitting, work up to 10 breath counts per pose.
NOW...begin your day as you whisper to yourself,
"I decide."
and let a smile warm your face.
Empty your cup and let the knowledge of the day teach you...
"Dies...diem...docet"----"The day teaches the day"
