Recipes: Carrot and fennel chicken noodle soup.

Fennel is a perennial herb 
and it has a very distinct flavor. 

It is used in many cultures 
especially in Mediterranean cuisine.

Cut the bulbs into thin slices.


then finely chop them,


Peel carrots,
then finely chop them.


2 chicken breasts,

finely chopped


In a large saucepan, 
pour 4-6 cups of chicken stock,

add fennel,

carrots,


and chicken,


and spices:
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash Original Blend
Boil until vegetables and chicken are tender; about 20-30 minutes on medium heat.

 Fennel and Carrot Chicken Soup may be served 
with rice or angel hair pasta.

Garnish with chopped parsley for fresh flavor when serving...
