Camel Pants 2 Ways...Black and Brown

Light colored pants are hard to wear right...
add to that equation capri style and the outfit may turn out to be a Glamour 'don't' !!!

Right?

Capris in light colors look best
on really tall thin ladies...

Well, there are a few exceptions.

BUT just a few...

I love camel colored pants.

So over the years, I've searched long and hard for a pair that fits my pear shape.

I wear them in the winter time with boots that are feminine and dainty instead of
chunky heeled and clunky
which would make me look bigger and frumpy.

The color is rich and creamy and looks great with black and blue accents.

The blouse is geometric pattern. It's not too long because the pants fit great.

The cardigan is black with fur trim and it matches the length of the blouse.

If the blouse and the sweater would be two different lenghts, it would look messy.

The bling is light blue stones and turquoise.

And now...
for the brown accents...

The blouse is a blue and white striped buttondown.
The key is that it's made of 100% silk and less bulky than a cotton shirt.
It looks dainty and feminine.

The jacket is made of rich merino wool and it's a little shorter than the blouse
adding dimensoin to the outfit.
If the blouse would have a busy pattern, the two different lengths would fight and would appear busy.

The boots are simple with a short 2 inch heel and made of a thin nylon material with leather accents that hug the ankle creating a girly leg and foot.

The jewelry is geometric.
The pendant on the necklace
and the earrings are square.

The ring is a cluster of pearls,
which adds a feminine touch
to the otherwise masculine stripes of the blouse.

A red lip and soft monochromatic
brown eye makeup adds a woman's touch to the ensemble...
